HURON — Our dearly loved, Kristin Nicole Paye, 43, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at her home in Huron.
Kristin was a daughter, a little sister, and a mother to four beautiful children.
Kristin was born January 30, 1981, in Huron, where she lived most of her life. In May 2023 she was awarded her Associate of Arts from Northern State University with the goal to earn her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice.
Kristin loved her family, friends and her cats - Frankie & Pickle. She was vivacious and simply wanted to enjoy life. She had a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh. She lived life on the edge and was gutsy even as a small child. More than anything, Kristin had a desire to love and be loved; she had a huge heart.
She is survived by her children, Haley Fraser, Gillette, Wyo., Sydnee Paye-Severance, Huron, Lola Recinos-Avila, Sioux Falls and Mateo Recinos-Avila, Sioux Falls; father, Jeffry Paye, Huron; mother and step-father, Gloria and Dale Eyre,Absarokee, Mont.; brother, Michael and wife, Susan Paye, Aberdeen; two sisters, Rebecca Paye, Temecula, Calif., and Laura Paye and husband, Andrew Doolittle, Pray, Mont.; three nephews, Christopher, Joseph and Nathan Paye; two nieces, Daisy and Lila Doolittle; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Leonard and Maxine Paye; Joe Fair and Leona Hedeen; and uncle Michael Bruce Paye.
Kristin will be deeply missed by her family and friends. A memorial and celebration of life will be held this summer 2024 in Huron. An additional notification will be published when plans are finalized.
