WOLSEY - The Wolsey-Wessington Lady Warbirds swept past the Iroquois/Lake Preston Sharks Monday night in Wolsey by set scores of 25-10, 25-13, and 25-19.

The Lady Warbirds move to 11-3 with the victory behind 10 kills and three blocks from Samara Clemente. Tatum Luce added nine kills on 22 of 25 hitting and also had three blocks.

Shae Uttecht paced the defense with 27 digs and also was 18 of 18 serving with three aces. Kendal Uttecht set up the offense with 24 assists on 87 of 88 setting.

The Sharks fall to 3-11. Chenoa Harris led the attack with four kills. Hadlee Holt had six blocks.

Madisen Steffensen led the defense with 19 digs and Trinity Pirlet had seven assists and two service aces.

The Sharks will host Dell Rapids St. Mary’s in Lake Preston Thursday. The Lady Warbirds are off until Saturday’s 281 Conference tournament in Wessington Springs.
