To the Editor:
On Feb. 10, Mr. Nettinga had a column, referring to the MAGA folks about Fami Willis, the woman prosecuting the former president’s racketeering case in Georgia, acknowledging a personal relationship with a male member of her staff?
He writes: ‘Is it because having such a relationship veers dangerously close to Trump’s own history of being married to one woman and “dallying” with another? And then doing it again? At this time, at least there aren’t any allegations Ms. Willis paying off adult models and actresses. She’s an adult. She went on vacation with someone on her team. If he were a defense attorney - an adversary - I would think many people would rightfully be upset. But he wasn’t.’
The story that I heard is that Ms. Willis gave Mr. Wade $650,000 in taxpayer money. That sounds kinda “fishy” to me.
The fact is, both Ms. Willis and Trump “sinned” in God’s eyes. I know for one thing for sure - God knows the truth.
In Matthew 7:1-2 it says, ‘judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgement ye judge, ye shall be judged; and with what measure ye mete (criticism) it shall be measure to you again.’
Only God has the authority to judge humans. Come judgement day, we will all stand before God and be judged for what we did or didn’t do with God’s son Jesus. At that time, we will spend eternity with or without God.
We all still have a chance to make the right decision, but time is running out and things continue to get worse, as the Bible foretells.
Many people believe they have plenty of time left to make that decision, but the Bible says Christ will come as a thief in the night. (I Thes. 5:2).
