To the Editor:

We have lived out here in the Southtown Addition for about seven years now and I have never seen it look so bad.

The Chamber of Commerce asks us to spruce up Huron for the upcoming State Fair and yet we have property owned by Greater Huron Development out here and it does nothing with the weeds - some that are noxious - that by now are 5-6 feet tall.  

We have paid good money to have our yard look the way it does and it saddens me to see how bad the weeds are out here.

You tell me, why would anyone care to buy a lot out here when the weeds are that tall?

I am just wondering why we have to follow a city ordinance of keeping our weeds mowed and Greater Huron doesn’t.
