To the Editor:

I wish to commend the Huron city crew that has been replacing the water lines in our area. This is an enormous and complex undertaking, and yet, they have made it as painless for us citizens as possible. When they switched us to temporary water lines, we barely noticed any difference. We still enjoyed good water pressure and good-tasting Huron water.

Even with certain streets dug up, it was not difficult to get where we needed to be. And I marveled at the skill with which these workers handled the big machinery, as though it was second nature. They also dealt with us with courtesy and even re-seeded a portion of our lawn they had to dig up - and that grass is filling in nicely.
