To the Editor:
Your Voice is a Gift.
Approximately 25 million Christians who are registered to vote don’t vote in presidential elections. It’s much higher in local elections.
Our vote is one of the greatest tools we have to initiate change. If we don’t vote our values, our children and grandchildren will pay the price.
This right and privilege can be taken away.
If your candidate is elected, will they protect your children and their future? Please read the letter in the Plainsman from Saturday, Sept. 7, by Laura Stack. She explains what happened in her home state of Colorado after recreational marijuana was legalized.
Bring your voice to the voting booth on November 5 while you still can.
Dietrich Bonhoeffer - “The ultimate test of a moral society is the kind of world that it leaves to its children.”
John 21:17 - Jesus tells Simon Peter if he really loves Jesus he should feed his sheep. Feed them what? The Truth.
Shepherds, tell us what the scriptures teach about the issues of:
Marriage - who can I covenant with and who can’t I?
Sanctity of Life - when does life begin?
How many genders are there? - Millions of young people are in an identity crisis. They truly don’t know who or what they are living for.
When does Acts 5:29 apply to the sheep? “We must obey God rather than human beings.”
What did Jesus mean in Matthew 10:34 when he said, “Don’t assume that I have come to bring peace on the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.”
