I read with interest the letter from Kim Davis (in the June 28 Plainsman).
This getting rid of all the feral cats in the fairgrounds — or anywhere else for that matter — is going to come back and bite them in the butt.
When the explosion of rodents happens, we will see how the trap and neuter works.
They will be wishing the cats were back.
I used to buy sticky traps, used mothballs; you name it. Now, a couple of cats make trips around my garage and I see no mice.
Yes, we can have too many cats, but we can also have too few.
