Lights of the season

Posted

Light displays are springing up throughout Huron as December begins. The Banghart house on the corner of 19th St. SW and Illinois Ave. utilizes more than 97,000 lights with the display fully lit from 5 to 11 p.m. each evening and donation boxes at two locations on the property to benefit the Beadle County Humane Society.

Visitors can view the display by walking on the sidewalk to view all the different lights and figurines in the lawn.

The former Tschetter Hohm Clinic building at the corner of Fifth St. S.E. and Kansas Ave. features a display that synchronizes with music that’s portrayed on a wide video screen and timed to the lights.

Viewers can listen to the music on their car radio as they view the impressive display.
