WATERTOWN — Watertown swept Huron’s seventh-grade girls’ basketball team in a pair of games Monday.
The Arrows won the A-game 27-19.
Jayla Schley led the Tigers with 10 points, while Ramsey Rozell added four point. Arian Pfitzer and Autumn Siedschlag had three and two points, respectively.
Watertown emerged with a 30-20 win in the B-game.
Siedschlag reached double figures with 14 points for Huron. Jesse Mattke finished with four points and Aria Morales had two points.
Huron will host Brookings on Thursday.
Eighth-grade
WATERTOWN — Watertown slipped past the Huron eighth-grade girls’ basketball teams in a pair of games on Monday.
The Arrows won the A-game 32-26.
Reagan Bischoff, Maggie Storm and Claire Davis each had six points for the Tigers, while Lennon Magness-Caudell had five points.
Watertown escaped with a 26-24 win the B-game.
Charleigh Brewer and Kinsley Armstrong had 11 and 10 points, respectively, for Huron.
The Tigers will host Brookings on Thursday.
