Seventh grade
PIERRE – The Huron girls’ seventh-grade basketball team split a pair of games Thursday at Pierre.
The Tigers won the “A” game 20-8. Jayla Schley dropped in 11 points to lead Huron, including 5 of 10 from the free throw line. Ramsey Rozell added five points for the Tigers. Talley Hins and Arian Pfitzer each added two points.
Pierre took the “B” game 26-9. Huron was led by Autumn Siedschlag with five points. Jesse Mattke added four points.
Eighth grade
PIERRE – The Huron 8th grade girls’ basketball team split a pair of games Thursday in Pierre.
Huron won the “A” game, 23-14. Maggie Storm led the scoring for the Tigers with 11 points. Kinsley Armstrong added six points, Claire Davis bucketed four points, and Lennon Magness-Caudell had two points.
Pierre took the “B” game 30-17. Charleigh Brewer scored eight points to lead Huron. Kinsley Armstrong had seven points and Camilla Von Eye had two points.
