HURON — The Huron seventh-grade girls’ basketball team split a pair of games against Yankton on Monday.
Huron claimed a 39-29 victory in the A-game.
Jayla Schley led the Tigers with 22 points, while Ramsey Rozell added 13 points.
Yankton emerged with a 20-9 win in the B-game.
Autumn Siedschlag had six points to lead Huron.
The Tigers will travel to Brookings for the Big 4 Tournament on Dec. 19
Eighth-grade
HURON — Yankton recorded a doubleheader sweep against Huron in eighth-grade girls’ basketball on Monday.
The Gazelles won the A-game 41-35.
Lennon Magnesss-Caudell had 16 points to lead the Tigers, while Reagan Bischoff and Maggie Storm each had eight points.
Yankton escaped with a 16-13 win in the B-game.
Kinsley Armstrong had 10 points for Huron.
