MILLER — Using a 3-1 victory against Wolsey-Wessington, Miller won the Central South Dakota Conference Tournament championship on Saturday.

The Rustlers, who are ranked No. 4 in Class A, won the opening set 25-19 in the championship match.Wolsey-Wessington responded with a 25-12 win in the second set to force a tiebreaking set, and Miller claimed the title with a 25-14 victory.

The Rustlers opened the tournament with a 2-0 victory against Sunshine Bible Academy using set scores of 25-7 and 25-9.

They then used set scores of 25-21 and 25-13 to get past Faulkton Area in the semifinals.

Named to the All-CSDC tournament team for Miller were Jolie Palmer, Gracen Werdel and Paige Werdel.

The Rusters, who are now 15-1, travel to face Chamberlain on Tuesday.
