Posted

Welcome to a month of exciting programs and events at the library! In celebration of International Games Month, we’re offering activities that highlight the joy of gaming, learning, and connecting with others. From special gaming events to creative and educational programs designed to encourage community engagement, there’s something for everyone. Mark your calendar for Tuesday, Nov. 19, from 4 to 5 p.m., to celebrate National Monopoly Day by playing Monopoly! This event is open to all ages.

Kids’ Korner (Birth-Grade 3)
November brings a wonderful opportunity for creativity and quality time! On Nov. 16, we will host a Mom/Grandma and Me Thanksgiving Crafting Hour, where we’ll create an adorable Turkey Door Décor hanger. Registration for this event opened on Friday, Nov. 1, and space is limited, so be sure to sign up early!

In addition to crafting, we will honor our Veterans by providing materials for kids to make Thank You Cards to leave for a special Veteran. Throughout the month, we will also celebrate our love for picture books by teaming up with the South Dakota State Library to present an exclusive Story Time South Dakota event—more details to come!

Regular programming will continue with Little Learners & Explorers Storytime on Tuesday mornings, After the Bell Afterschool Activities, Kids Club, and Dinosaur Club. Check out the library’s calendar for more information on all the exciting happenings in November!
