HURON — A pair of area volleyball teams will compete in the Class B SoDak 16, which is slated for Tuesday at various sites across the state.

Hitchcock-Tulare, which is 30-2, is the third seed and will face No. 14 Herreid/Selby Area (18-11) at 7 p.m., at Northwestern High School in Mellette.

Wolsey-Wessington, which is 24-7, is the No. 11 seed and will face sixth-seeded Gayville-Volin (28-4) at 7 p.m., at the McCook Central School in Salem.

Chester, which is 28-2, holds the top seed and will face No. 16 Gregory at 7 p.m., in Canistota.

Here is a look at the rest of the Class B SoDak 16 matchups: No. 2 Warner (30-4) vs. No. 15 Faulkton Area (15-16) in Redfield at 7 p.m.; No. 4 Kadoka Area (30-3) vs. No. 13 Parkston (21-12) at Todd County at 7 p.m.; No. 5 Burke (32-3) vs. No. 12 Harding County (29-8) in Philip at 5:30 p.m.; No. 7 Faith (30-5) vs. No. 10 Castlewood (18-10) in Gettysburg at 7 p.m.; and No. 8 Colman-Egan (23-5) vs. No. 9 Edgemont (30-4) in Chamberlain at 5:30 p.m.

The winners will advance to the Class B State Tournament on Nov. 21-23 in Sioux Falls.
