HURON — The P.E.O. Chapter F Convention Report Luncheon was held at GiGi’s, with 15 members in attendance.
The Chapter STAR Scholar nominee, Elizabeth Estrada and her mother, Angelica, were guests.
Elizabeth thanked the Chapter for her sponsorship and shared her post-secondary plans to attend school to be a medical lab technician.
STAR Committee members, Rachel Kary and Sarah Rubish presented Elizabeth with a $300 check from the chapter and wished her the best in her future endeavors.

Vice-President Darcy Haber presided over the meeting and Chaplain Jane Meekins read from John 3:16.
Teresa Haatvedt, PCE Committee Member, reported there are two potential candidates for this grant.
Yearbook committee announced the date of the B.I.L. to be August 22 at the home of Sarah Rubish with details forthcoming.
Convention delegates, Beth Picek and Marie Wheeler, presented highlights of the event and announced that Marie Wheeler was recognized as a 50-year member and Kay Gogolin as a 55-year member.
The Chapter was also recognized for being an outstanding contributor to P.E.O. Projects.
