Phat Cat Swinger to present concert tonight

Posted

HACA presents the first concert of the 2023-2024 season with Phat Cat Swinger, a “little-big” 11-piece band that specializes in high-energy music today, Monday, Sept. 25, at the HHS auditorium at 7:30 p.m.

The group regularly performs at a variety of Los Angeles hot-spots, including Disneyland and festivals. Phat Cat Swinger was founded in 2002 and includes music from Sinatra, Big Bad VooDoo Daddy, Disney and a few originals.

Destination Imagination will be offering the concessions this year during intermission.

They will offer bars/cookies, coffee or juice for a freewill offering. Members of the group will be working the tables, so be sure to ask about their plans for this year.

You will not want to miss this concert! No matter what the band plays, you will be smiling almost instantly.

Membership is by season ticket or by buying an individual ticket at the door the night of the concert. Season tickets are $50. A family membership is $115 and includes a ticket for the entire family. A student membership is $15. In addition to the five concerts in Huron, if you are willing to travel, you could attend other reciprocity concerts in Gettysburg, Mitchell and Pierre.
