Pierre claims title at ESD Conference Girls' Tournament

HURON –– The Huron Tigers girls’ wrestlers hosted the ESD Conference championship meet on Thursday at Huron Arena.

Pierre pulled away for the team title, tallying 198 team points with five individual titles. Watertown came in second with 108 and Aberdeen Central placed third with 100 points.

The Tigers finished 10th with nine team points.

Reva McGaugh was the only place-winner for Huron, taking fourth place at 114 for the Tigers.

The Tigers are back on the mat on Thursday in Aberdeen for the Region 3A meet.
