Huron’s 106-pounder Carter Nelson got the match started off right, as the Tiger freshman pulled of a 9-5 decision upset of Pierre’s Gable Uhrig, who came in ranked No. 3 in the state at 106.
Huron’s other win in the dual came from Moses Gross, the top ranked 150-pounder in the state. Gross controlled the match throughout, rolling up considerable points over Brock Moser, before sticking the Governor grappler at the 2:53 mark of the match.
