Prairie Wranglers assist Operation Christmas Child

Posted

The Prairie Wranglers 4-H club kicked off the holiday season by gathering basic essentials to fill eight boxes for Operation Christmas Child. The 4-H club has been doing this project for several years, and is one of the bigger community projects that they do.

Club members feel it is important to provide and give to those in need, especially around the holidays.

Club members also did a project for the Salvation Army food pantry by recycling plastic bags to donate and also made treats to be passed out at the Thanksgiving meal at Salvation Army.

Shoebox gifts for children are being collected this week at Living Hope Alliance Church, 1779 Frank Ave. S.E.
