Approximately one year after it opened, the Ground Round Grill and Bar has closed its doors. The rumor that the establishment was closing had been denied as late as Tuesday afternoon, but a simple “Sorry, Closed” sign greeted visitors on Wednesday.
Ground Round is located along Highway 37 just south of the Coborn’s parking lot, in the new Southtown Development. Attempts to contact owner Diane London, who also has a Perkins Restaurant in Fort Pierre, were unsuccessful.
