REDFIELD — Robert “Bob” John Cleberg, 73, of Redfield, passed away at home surrounded by his family, Thursday, Oct. 15, 2020.
His funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Redfield, with the Rev. John Short officiating. Interment, with military honors, will follow at the church cemetery.
The funeral will be live-streamed to the funeral home website.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hyke Funeral Home in Redfield, with a rosary at 7 p.m.
Robert “Bob” John Cleberg was born Dec. 15, 1946, to Frances and Isabelle (Esser) Cleberg. He served in the Vietnam War from 1967-1969.
He married Linda Marie Ogan July 5, 1969, in Redfield.
He is survived by his wife of Redfield; his sons, Jay (Vickie) Stenslie of Maple Grove, Minn., and Jason (Shawn) Cleberg of Aberdeen; a daughter, Shannon Thomas; eight grandchildren; five sisters: Irita, Bonnie, Ardis, Mary Lou and Madonna; three brothers: Mark, Joe, and Tony; and a brother-in-law, Jerry Ogan of Pierre; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by five brothers and a sister.
