HURON –– Colleen and Graham Smith recently executed a “substantial gift” to the Huron Salvation Army on behalf of Colleen’s sister and brother-in-law, Marino and Marlys Abbondondolo.
Colleen was the administrator of the estate, and she noted that Marino had a strong love for the ministry of the Salvation Army, dating back to help that he received from the Huron Salvation Army location years previous.
“Gifts like this aid the Salvation Army in doing the work that they do so well,” Salvation Army Advisory Board Chairman Ron Volesky stated. “We want to say to ‘come one, come all’ to those who are in need, and this will certainly help.”
