HURON — State House District 22 Representative Lynn Schneider announced that after serving two full terms in the House, he will not be seeking a third term in 2024.

“Serving in the state legislature has been a wonderful privilege and a great experience,” Schneider said in a press release, “however, at my age, the time has come to step down and spend more time with my family and our eight grandchildren."

Schneider noted that he decided to make his announcement at this time, to allow others who may have an interest in seeking a House seat to throw their hat in the race.

“I thank the people of District 22 for their confidence in my service these past four years and I wish all District 22 residents continued success,” Schneider added.
