The high school art room is busy as usual with seven classes this semester. The four Ceramics classes will learn multiple hand-building and design techniques. Some of the projects they will complete are a low-relief tile, lantern, and Egyptian inspired jars.

The drawing and painting classes are expanding on the basics learned in Art I to investigate color and value on a more intermediate level. Students will complete several projects to push and expand their skills with multiple types of 2D media.

Digital photography classes will introduce the students to the basic principles of photography utilizing the tech that they have available to them, their cellphones and iPads. Students will learn about the rules of composition, the art of visual analysis, and how to edit using various applications.
