HURON — In the month of October, a total of 27 kids, between the ages of 3 and 17, who had been sleeping on the floor received beds, through the Sleep in Heavenly Peace program in Huron.

Sleep in Heavenly Peace has a community bed build planned for Saturday Nov. 16, beginning at 9 a.m. and located at in the spec building at 191 Union Ave NW.

There is a demand for more beeds to meet the needs in the area and SHP would not be able to have beds without volunteers.
