Dru Strand selected as first girls wrestling coach

HURON — Dru Stand was hired as the new head girls’ wrestling coach for the Huron Tigers on Monday.
Strand, who is a an elementary teacher at the Madison 2-3 Center, is also the head football coach for the Tigers. He has been a varsity wrestling assists coach with the Huron boys’ program since 2016.
Strand is a 2011 graduate of Adrian High School in Minnesota and a 2016 graduate of Dakota State University in Madison.
