HURON — The Tigers earned a pair of victories Tuesday during a triangular at Huron Courts.
Huron recorded 7-2 victories against Milbank and Aberdeen Roncalli to collect the second and third wins of the season.
“The boys played well today,” Huron coach Tim Hedblom said. “We were able to pick up valuable singles and doubles wins today.”
The Tigers nearly recorded a sweep in the doubles competition on Tuesday. Milbank used a tiebreaker to claim the win in No. 1 doubles, while Aberdeen Roncalli’s No. 1 doubles team escaped with a 10-8 victory.
“Our doubles played well today,” Hedblom said. “The boys continue to improve each time out.”
Huron returns to action Friday, hosting Madison and Vermillion in a triangular at 9 a.m.
