HURON — The Huron girls’ tennis team went 1-1 in matches against Eastern South Dakota Conference opponents on Saturday at Huron Courts.
The Tigers blanked Brookings 9-0 and suffered an 8-1 setback against Watertown.
“We had a great win against Brookings,” Huron coach Rachel Kary said. “We lost against Watertown, but played well.”
Paw Kler Moo at No. 4 had the lone victory for Huron against the Arrows. She inked a 10-2 singles win against Sophia Nichols.
The Tigers will face Rapid City Central and Rapid City Stevens at 9 a.m. And noon, respectively, on Saturday in Aberdeen.
