Huron drops two of three at Yankton

YANKTON — The Yankton Bucks took two of three games Huron Tiger 8th grade boys’ basketball team on Monday.
Huron squeaked out a 20-19 win in the “B” game, using a balanced scoring attack. Noah Koops had five points for Huron while Ryker Shelton, Saw Htoo and Yo Yo each contributed three points.
In the “A” game, Huron got 12 points from Colt Culver, however Yankton held on for a 49-22 win.
The “C” game also went to the Bucks, 17-13. Huron was led by Jesus Portugal’s six points.
Huron is back in action Thursday, when the Tigers host Mitchell at the Huron Middle School Gym, at 4 p.m.
