PIERRE — The S.D. Dept. of Environment and Natural Resources announced recently that the Town of Hitchcock’s public water system and its operation specialists were awarded a Secretary’s Award for Drinking Water Excellence.
The public water system has met all requirements for the Safe Drinking Water Act for 16 consecutive years. Michael McCready is the system’s operations specialist.
