As the weather continues to get colder, work continues on the new, nearly fully enclosed, transfer station being constructed on the east side of town for the city’s solid waste department.

Also completed for the season is the new road that links the transfer station back into town. The roadway will remain graveled for the remainder of the winter and spring, with paving of the newly constructed road taking place in 2025.
