Turning dirt for The SHED
State and local governmental officials, representatives of the S.D. State Fair and others took part in groundbreaking ceremonies Thursday afternoon for The SHED at the South Dakota State Fairgrounds. Hunter Roberts, the Secretary of Natural Resources and Agriculture, discussed the building project and introduced Governor Kristi Noem. Noem praised the work by the State Fair staff and Foundation to get the project funded, as well as legislators who worked to secure the funding.
