ORIENT — Virgil Hansen, 91, of Orient, passed away Monday, November 16, 2020.
Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. today, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Orient, with Father Christopher Hughes presiding. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A rosary will be prayed at 9:30 a.m. this morning.
Virgil was born in Orient to Halbert and Leah January 26, 1929.
He married Mildred Theresa Weideman June 9, 1959.
He is survived by his children, Richard (Angela) Hansen, Marlys Hansen, William Hansen, and foster son, Tony (Kelly) DesLauriers; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Lavilla Levtzow, Phyllis Markegard, and Karen (Claude) Bent.
He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; brother, Robert James Hansen; grandson, Luke Densel Hansen; great-grandson, Ezekiel Richard Hansen; and brother-in-laws, Lyle Levtzow and Dale Markegard.
