CHAMBERLAIN — Wessington Springs clinched a spot in the Class B State Amateur Baseball Tournament with a 14-12 victory against Plankinton in the District 3B Tournament on Monday.
Third-seeded Plankinton will receive another shot at earning a state berth, when it plays sixth-seeded Chamberlain at 7:30 p.m., today in Chamberlain.
The District 3B title game between top-seeded Four Corners and second-seeded Kimball/White Lake was held Tuesday night.
