Huron people seeking a bit of sledding or tubing fun in the area known as “Toboggan Hill” were disappointed when this ‘closed’ sign was put into place. According to the Huron Parks and Rec Department, the hill was closed due to the continued flooding of the James River and its proximity to the base of the hill. Up until the recent cold snap, the ice was considered unstable, but with the temperatures the past week, Parks personnel are expected to revisit the situation and may likely lift the closure. Get your tubes and sleds ready!!
