HURON — The eighth annual SHE Awards were held Oct. 28 at the Fine Arts Center.

Ashley Lindgren, Community Service

The award nominees were recognized for their contribution in the areas of community service, humanitarianism, leadership, and a commitment to the welfare of those who are underserved.  

Dawn Meyers, Unsung Hero

Nomination categories were Community Service, won by Ashley Lindgren; Woman of Influence, won by Kelsi Stricherz;  the Unsung Hero Award, presented to Dawn Meyers; and Empowering SHE, which is a category for businesses, presented to Trussbilt.
