HURON — The county noted its first day of no new positive cases in 2021 and only its second such day since Labor Day 2020 in the South Dakota Department of Health’s (DOH) Tuesday numbers.
The state added 244 new positive cases and 595 new recovered cases. This brought the active cases in the state down to 4,751.
This is the lowest active caseload in the state since Oct. 8.
Beadle County had zero new positive cases and three new recovered cases. The county moved to 80 active cases.
The Heartland Region dropped to 184 active cases with the added recovered cases across the region.
