Andrew Manolis uses a shovel Monday afternoon to remove dirt from the gutter along 21st Street Southeast as he and Dave Lentz, driving the backhoe, clean up a work site on storm sewers for the retention pond. Both are with the city water department. Work is expected to continue on the project today.
