James Valley Christian 41, Faulkton Area 33
HURON — The James Valley Christian Lady Vikings led from start to finish Friday night, as they downed the Faulkton Area Trojans 41-33 in non-conference girls’ basketball at the James Valley Christian School gym.
Alexa Goertz scored 18 points to lead the Lady Vikes, who improve to 11-3, while Kaylie Robinson added 12 points. JVC was 14-16 from the free thow line in the game, including going seven for eight in the fourth quarter.
Paislee Martinmaas and Kelli Stoecker both ended with 11 points for the Trojans, who fall to 7-9 with the loss.
The Lady Vikings are on the road today, traveling to Estelline to take on the Estelline/Hendricks Red Hawks, as they look to add to their five-game winning streak.

HITCHCOCK – The Hitchcock-Tulare Lady Patriots scored a 43-23 victory over the Sunshine Bible Academy Crusaders Friday in 281 Conference action in Hitchcock.
Cambree Hoekman led the Lady Patriots, now 6-8, with 14 points. Gracyn Bixler added 12 points.
Isabel Gilbert grabbed 10 rebounds to lead Hitchcock-Tulare.
The Crusaders fall to 0-14. Abby Hinman came off the bench to score nine points while Sadie Konechne grabbed seven rebounds for SBA.
The Crusaders travel to Mitchell Christian Monday while the Lady Patriots travel to Highmore-Harrold on Tuesday.

CLARK — The Clark/Willow Lake Cyclones outran the Sisseton Redmen 39-10 over the second and third quarters en route to a 73-33 drubbing in boys’ basketball action.
Kaplan Felberg scored 28 points and Trey Huber netted 21 for the Cyclones, who improve to 10-4 with the win.
The Redmen were led by Carter Stickland’s 17 points, while Mason Herzog chipped in 10.
The Cyclones are back in action on Thursday, when they travel to Britton-Hecla.

HITCHCOCK — The Hitchcock-Tulare Patriots led at all the quarter stops Friday night, racing to a double digit lead after one quarter and cruising home with a 61-27 win over the Sunshine Bible Academy Crusaders in boys’ 281 Conference basketball action.
TJ Salmen led the Patriots with 18 points, while Jackson Maynard added 16 as Hitchcock-Tulare improves to 6-6 on the season.
The Crusaders, who fall to 0-12, were led by Nolan Triebwasser with nine points and Daniel Gerbracht, who scored eight.
SBA travels to Mitchell Christian on Monday, while the Patriots are also on the road, taking on Deubrook Area tonight.
