HURON — Tony Reep was recently featured as guest speaker at the Huron Lioness Club meeting held at the Huron Senior Center in Huron.
Tony received a full scholarship from Huron Lions and Lioness Clubs to attend Camp Gilbert during June.
Along with members of his family, Tony enamored the audience with a humorous talk about the week’s daily activities. Ann Fenske, Administrative Assistant and Raleigh Larson, Registered Nurse for the Huron School District, also presented information about Camp Gilbert.

Camp Gilbert is designed just for kids aged eight to 18 with Type 1 diabetes to provide education sessions that include nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle management. Camp provides opportunities to make lasting friendships with other youth with diabetes.
