To the Editor:

It’s nice to know that other readers got a laugh out of my last letter. I’ll bet, and it’s nice to know, that they listened to my letter, and one in particular tamed down the usual rambling rhetoric. They do still think that only Democrats are liars. Let’s see if we can enlighten.

One company’s fact checker had Mr. Trump at 30,573 false, or misleading claims (lies) as president. The Toronto Star tallied his false claims at only 5,276 by June of 2019. That would be 6.1 per day. He also fabricated the “Big Lie,” that the election was stolen from him. National writers claim that Trump is the most “accomplished and effective liar” thus far in American politics, and that he was delivering untruths on an unprecedented scale.

A writer from the L.A. Times agreed that there has never been a president like Donald Trump, whose volume of falsehoods, misstatements, and serial exaggerations was unparalleled. We all know about the tax fraud lies where the Trump Organization, he and his family, have to pay $1.6 million in fines. The list goes on.

How about another fine Republican, George Santos, who claims that his mother died as a result of 9-11, when she was still in Brazil on 9-11. He lied about his college education, and that he was a volleyball star at a college he never even attended. He’s lied about where he’s worked, and about being mugged when he had the check for back rent. He was also charged with theft, and fraud in Brazil.

Then there is also Marjorie Taylor Greene who said that the Sandy Hook, and Parkland school shootings were “staged.”

In closing, so only Democrats lie?
