HURON — Beadle County Treasurer Jacque McCaskell reminds property owners in the county that the second half of the 2017 Beadle County property tax, due and payable in 2018, is due by Oct. 31. Payment can be made by mail or brought to the Treasurer’s office on the first floor of the Beadle County Courthouse.
There is a drop box in the courthouse by the Treasurer’s office for property tax payment, but McCaskell requests that no cash be left in the drop box.
Mailed payments are required to have a postmark on or before Oct 31; anything postmarked Nov. 1 or later will be delinquent, and interest will be charged. If you mail your payment and you want a receipt, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope.
