HURON — Fresh bouquets of roses will brighten the lives of numerous people in Huron on Wednesday, and the proceeds from the sale of those roses will lend a helping hand to others in the area.
On Oct. 24, for the 21st year, Walker’s Flower Shop owners Ann and Jason Edleman will sponsor the promotion at the downtown Huron store, with sales earmarked for the United Way Heartland Region 2018 fund drive. Roses will be available for $20 per dozen and interested people should reserve their bouquets today, as quantities are limited. Call 352-3537 to reserve a day brightener. Delivery is available for the flowers as well.
