Who owns the West Industrial Park? If I remember correctly the city received a large grant from the state to purchase and develop the park. They had the water and sewer installed and the roads built.
For years the only development in the Park was Lankota, an MDRW small office and a large spec building built by GHDC. Did your tax dollars pay for that spec building? TRANSPARENCY Then the pipeline contractors came to town looking for space to rent. All at once GHDC owned the West Industrial Park. GHDC rented the land, and I believe the building to the contractors. Did you go out and look at all the equipment there and the amount of land rented?
