To the Editor:
Seize this opportunity! Southtown development needs a kick-start. My family and I have lived in Huron for 12 years. During that time, we have witnessed very minimal development in the Southtown area. My view on the WheatGrass Village is that it will create the opportunity for more houses, restaurants and businesses to move into Southtown.
I grew up in Yankton and recently took the opportunity to drive around their “WheatGrass Village,” which was constructed by the same builder. I will be the first to admit that it is hard to compare S.D. cities for many reasons; however, I can tell you what I witnessed in Yankton was very impressive.
