Kaitlyn Micheel and Tucker Micheel, members of the Pearl Creek Boosters 4-H Club, share their views of 4-H membership:
• “My goal was to improve on my swine and beef showmanship,” Kaitlyn Micheel said. “At the Beadle County 4-H Achievement Days I won the Junior Swine Showmanship Contest and earned Reserve in the Junior Beef Showmanship Contest. Last year, I was also in the rabbit project area where I showed two rabbits. I gave an illustrated talk on Five Tips of Child Care in the Child Development project area. In the Special Foods project area I made pork chops. I learned to modge podge and paint with acrylic paint on canvas in the Visual Arts project area.”
