Adding a dash of color

HURON — When Adam Fleischhacker isn’t working or spending time with his family he enjoys painting.

Fleischhacker began with hanging his smaller oil-on-canvas works in Aroma Coffee Shop and Cafe, and now has expanded to creating a giant wall mural with acrylic paints, of the Ravine Lake Park. Fleischhacker noted his smaller picture of Ravine Lake that he has hanging on the adjacent wall is similar to his giant mural but this one will have more scenery and a longer view.

“I enjoy coming here (Aroma) and the wall needed some color,” said Fleischhacker. He added that he would like to make the extra room Aroma Cafe has into his art studio, Adam Fleischhacker Fine Art LLC., where he can schedule painting classes and live painting sessions.

“The windows are big and it’s bright so it’s perfect for painting,” he added.

Fleischhacker said he has been asking customers and anyone who wants to lend a hand, to pick up a paint brush and add a touch.

“I had about 20 people come in yesterday and participate,” he said.
