IROQUOIS — A pair of players from Wolsey-Wessington have been named to the first team of the All-281 Conference boys’ basketball team, which was recently announced.
Senior Tate French and junior Moshe Richmond were named to the first team for Wolsey-Wessington.
Also named to the first team were sophomore Parker Graff of Wessington Springs, senior Trake Cowan of Highmore-Harrold and senior Jeff Boschee of Sanborn Central/Woonsocket.
Making up the second team were junior Ryder Michalek of Wessington Springs; junior Jerrad Wallman of James Valley Christian; senior Blake Larson of Wessington Springs; sophomore Caleb Richmond of Wolsey-Wessington; and senior Carson Stephenson of Highmore-Harrold.
Third team honors went to senior Cody Slykhuis of Sanborn Centra/Woonsocket; senior Isaac Korell of James Valley Christian; senior Brock Krueger of Wessington Springs; senior Erik Salmen of Hitchcock-Tulare; and senior Josh McMasters of Iroquois/Lake Presotn.
Honorable mention went to sophomore Dax Frandsen of James Valley Christian; senior Jackson Maynard of Hitchcock-Tulare; junior Bryce Larson of Sanborn Central/Woonsocket; freshman Davis Chase of James Valley Christian; and sophomore Colby Flowers of Wessington Springs.
