HURON — Watertown, which is No. 5 in the league standings, had three times as many shots on goal than Huron, which is one spot back in the standings, but it was the All-Stars emerging with a 5-3 victory on Friday on their home ice at Bergman Arena.
Huron goalie Jacob Wehde stopped 51 of the 54 shots he faced to help Huron improve to 4-4 in league play.
Despite having just 18 shots on goal, the All-Stars managed to get five of them past Watertown goalie Jared Fedt.
Huron opened the scoring with a goal by Lucas Snyder just over three minutes into the first period. He was assisted by Jackson Hook on the play.
The Lakers (4-6) would pull even nearly six minutes later on an unassisted goal by Drey Reihe.
