Clark-Willow Lake 59, Milbank 31
MILBANK — The Clark-Willow Lake Cyclones got off to a quick start and turned a 16-point halftime lead into a 59-31 win over the Milbank Bulldogs Thursday night in girls’ basketball action.
The Cyclones got 18 points and nine rebounds from Olivia Sass, while Jada Burke tacked on 10 points, to push the C-WL record to 6-3 on the season.
Milbank was led by Maurina Street, who had 18 points and six rebounds. Isabella Anderson also had six rebounds and the Cyclones forced the Bulldogs into 29 costly turnovers in the game.
Clark-Willow Lake is back in action Tuesday when it hosts Sioux Falls Christian at Willow Lake.
